Almost 80 people awaiting admission at North West hospitals

There were almost 80 people waiting for a bed at the two main North West hospitals this morning.

According to the latest trolley watch report, there were 31 people waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further 48 were waiting at Letterkenny.

Letterkenny is once again the second most overcrowded facility nationwide for the second day in a row.

Nationally there were 459 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
