Almost 90 people awaiting admission to North West hospitals

There were 87 people awaiting admission to the two main North West hospitals this morning according to the INMO.

43 people were waiting at Sligo University Hospital while a further 44 were waiting at Letterkenny.

University Hospital Limerick continues to be the most overcrowded with 90 people waiting there.

Nationally, there were 709 people waiting at hospitals across the country today.
