Significant funding has been allocated to both Donegal and Sligo Sports Partnerships.
Just over €900,000 in total has been awarded, with Donegal in receipt of €444,000 and Sligo to get €457,000.
The core funding comes through Sport Ireland for 2024, and Sligo and Donegal's allocations are both the fifth and sixth highest in the country.
Almost €30m in total for sporting organisations has been announced today by Minister for Culture, Catherine Martin and Minister of State for Sport, Thomas Byrne.
