Almost €3m funding for the region's towns and villages

Almost €3m has been allocated to Sligo, Leitrim and Donegal under the Town and Village Renewal Scheme.

In Sligo, Aclare, Calry, Kilglass, Ballygawley, Keash and Ballymote are are set to benefit.

In the OceanFM area of Co. Leitrim, the benefactors are Dromahair, Keshcarrigan and Rossinver while in Donegal funding has been given to develop a campaign showcasing the county as an ideal location for remote working.
