Aontú has selected Patrick Brogan to run in the Donegal Municipal District in this year’s local elections.
A native of Doorin, just outside Mountcharles, Mr Brogan is contesting his first local election.

Incidentally; he joins his brother Jimmy, who is running as an Independent on the ticket.
It is the first time the Aontú party has ran a candidate in the Donegal electoral area.
