Gardai have issued an appeal for video footage over a serious assault in Sligo town.
A man was hospitalised following the assault which happened in the Ballinode area between 5.30pm and 7pm on Wednesday evening.
His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.
Any person who recorded video / dashcam footage of the incident is requested to make contact with Detective Sergeant Martin McHale at Sligo Garda Station on 0860449591.
