Parents across the north west are urged to start the process of applying for the Back to School Allowance ahead of the next school year.
Today is the date that applications open to apply for the special school footware and clothing allowance.
It's a vital support to parents and families from right across Donegal, Sligo and Leitrim as the payment helps them meet some of the basic school costs.
You can apply via the social welfare website or through your local Citizen's Information Office.
