Campaigners against an oyster farm in west Donegal have reaped the benefits of sending an email to the wrong person.
One of the campaigners who are against plans to set up an oyster farm in the Ardara area sent an email by mistake to UK actor and TV personality Stephen Fry.
But having read the email which included details on their petition, Mr. Fry tweeted about the petition to protect this scenic part of Donegal to his more than twelve million followers.
By a strange quirk I accidentally received an email intended for someone else. It made me aware, though, of the people of Loughros Mór in glorious County Donegal and their fight against a 200 acre oyster farm in their famous, beautiful bay. Petition here https://t.co/5niw82ISpS

The email was intended for local artist Stephen Bennett.
His wife Bernie explained to Ocean FM News today how the email ended up being sent to the wrong Stephen!
