The Arranmore RNLI was tasked with bringing a yacht to safety over the weekend in west Donegal.
The 11-metre yacht, which had two crew members on board developed engine trouble two miles off Arranmore Island.
Tasked by Malin Head Coast Guard, the Arranmore RNLI volunteer crew were called to scene of the failure around 5pm on Sunday evening.
On arrival, the lifeboat crew connected a tow and the yacht was towed to the safety at Burtonport Harbour.
The lifeboat returned to anchor at Arranmore at 7.35pm following refuelling.
Members of the public are being reminded that if they get into difficulty or see someone else in trouble, call 999 or 112 and ask for the Coast Guard.
