BAI announce funding for commercial radio sector

The Broadcasting Authority of Ireland have announced  an allocation of €2.58m to the independent commercial radio sector.

Minister Catherine Martin welcomed the move adding that all 32 commercial radio stations throughout the country are benefiting from the funding.

Bláithín Gallagher, Constituency Spokesperson and National Coordinator of the Green Party says Local broadcast media serve the local population with local voices in a unique way.
