Ballinamore in County Leitrim had the lowest number of births in 2021, according to the CSO.

North Inner City Dublin was the Local Electoral Area with the highest number of births in 2021 at 755.

Ballinamore had the lowest at 104.

CSO statistics show the birth rate per one thousand of population was highest in both Ongar in Fingal and Tallaght in South Dublin.
