Members of An Garda Siochana from the Ballymote District conducted another Mandatory Intoxicant Test Checkpoint yesterday.
Since the 28th of October 2024 the checks have resulted in 28 Driving Under the Influence arrests as part of Operation Tara/Operation Douglas.

It was a high visibility operation that aims to encourage safe practices from motorists while behind the wheel.
