An Inspector in the Sligo Leitrim Garda division says community engagement is key in tackling crime.
Ballymote-based inspector Padraic Burke was one of the speakers at a well attended community meeting in Loftus Hall in Ballymote on Wednesday.
He says they now have a number of different platforms to engage with the community.
