Ballymote student sets up Young Fine Gael branch at Queen’s University Belfast

A former minister and Sligo TD's son has established a Young Fine Gael branch at Queen's University in Belfast.

Jude Perry from Ballymote, Co Sligo wants to see the party run candidates in the North within 10 years

The 20-year-old, who is son of John Perry, is in his second year studying history and politics at Queen’s University.

Mr Perry thinks there has already been a steady interest in the new Queen's branch from students, and from some people outside the university.
