A Donegal Councillor says funding to improve footpaths in Ballyshannon is long overdue.
€209,000 has been allocated to improve footpaths in the south of the county.
€133,000 of the funding has been earmarked for Ballyshannon.
Fine Gael Councillor Barry O'Neill says the reason Ballyshannon received the biggest allocation is because the footpaths are in such a bad condition.
