A local Publicans says the decision to move to level three in the Covid-19 restrictions is effectively a closure order for many pubs.
The Vintners Federation says 50,000 jobs will be lost as indoor sittings will be banned for the next three weeks.

Manorhamilton Publican and Leitrim Councillor, Felim Gurn says the stop start nature of trading for publicans during the pandemic has left the future of many pubs hanging in the balance.
Cllr Gurn says that unless the government ban the sale of alcohol in off-licences and supermarkets then house parties will continue and so will the spread of Covid-19.
