There are a number of beach cleanups taking place today.
As part of the International Coastal Clenaup, An Taisce Clean Coasts have been running an initiative this year called the Big Beach Clean where organisations and members of local communities can register to clean up their local beaches.
More than 100 countries around the world are taking part to make our beaches and oceans cleaner.
Some of the cleanups taking place today are at Maghera Beach, Streedagh Strand and Strandhill Beach with more taking place tomorrow and throughout the month in the North West.
