Beef Plan Movement rebrands as Irish Beef and Lamb Association

The national vice chairman of the Irish Beef and Lamb Association says the recently rebranded association will attempt to provide greater representation for all farmers.

Gurteen, Co Sligo farmer Gerard Pilkington and several other farm officials have assumed key executive positions in the new group, which was previously referred to as the Beef Plan Movement

Speaking to Ocean FM, Gerard Pilkington explained why it was necessary to rebrand.
