Bláithin Gallagher has been chosen as the Green Party candidate for the upcoming general election in the Sligo, Leitrim, South Donegal and North Roscommon constituency.
Votes were cast last night in the Glasshouse Hotel, Sligo where Bláithin was the chosen candidate.
Party leader, Eamon Ryan, says she has been a 'strong advocate in the community and voluntary sector all her life.'
