A Sligo man currently at the Polish/Ukrainian border says body bags are being specifically requested by Ukrainian authorities.
Fergal Nealon has been helping deliver essential supplies to the Polish/Ukrainian border donated by people from the north west region.
He says families have been coming in their droves seeking escape from the ongoing war Ukraine.
Speaking from the border, Fergal Nealon tells OceanFM News what it was like when they arrived.

Fergal and crew are there for at least another day where they are driving around to local pharmacies in an attempt to gather as much medial supplies as possible.
He also said people here in Sligo are continuing their efforts to gather much needed items.
