A boil water notice has been issued for Riverstown in Sligo.
The notice has been issued to due to a mechanical fault at the Riverstown Water Treatment Plant.
Some 647 customers are set to be affected, as water must be boiled before drinking, brushing teeth, and preparation of non-cooked food.
It is not yet known when the notice will be lifted, and Uisce Éireann have apologised for any inconvenience caused.
