As the winter sets in, and with the celebration of National Potato Day on Friday Bord Bia is reminding people of the nutritional qualities of potatoes.
It's not well known that potatoes are in fact a great source of vitamin C and if you like them with their skin on they are an even better source of potassium than a banana.
Lorcan Bourke of Bord Bia says this year they are trying to highlight the nutritional qualities of spuds:
