Gardaí in Boyle are investigating after a man in his early 60s sustained a serious head injury at Mountallen, Arigna on Thursday last at approximately 11pm.
The man is currently at Sligo University Hospital, where his condition is described as serious but stable.
Gardaí are investigating the circumstances surrounding how the man sustained his injuries.
