A 31-year old man charged last night with murder arising from a shooting at a gym in Dublin in June had been arrested earlier in County Donegal.
Gerard Cervi, of no fixed abode, was charged with the murder of Bobby Messett at a special sitting of Bray District Court, in Co Wicklow.
Ocean FM News understands Cervi had been taken into custody earlier while in Bundoran.
Messett, a 50 year old grandfather of three died after he was shot in an early morning attack on the 5th of June at Bray Boxing Club.
Two other men - including boxing trainer Pete Taylor - were also injured
Cervi was remanded in custody to appear before Cloverhill District Court next Tuesday.
