Break-in at Tullaghan filling station during Storm Ophelia

Gardai are continuing investigations into a break in and theft at a filling station in north Leitrim on the night of Storm Ophelia.

Thieves forced open a side window in the filling station in Tullaghan and stole a quantity of cigarettes.

The burglary occurred between about 10:30pm and 11pm.

Gardai are appealing for information from anyone who may have been in the area at the time or seen anything suspicious.
