A Donegal councillor says any further delay in the rollout of broadband would be devastating to rural areas.
Independent Councillor Niamh Kennedy was speaking following media reports at the weekend that connections to rural broadband may not now be made until 2020 at the earliest.
She says broadband is as essential today as electricity.
