Budget 2023: Levy to be introduced to help pay for Mica Scheme

The details of Budget 2023 have been revealed.

Among the measures announced, a levy on concrete blocks, pouring concrete and some concrete products will be introduced, to help pay for the MICA redress scheme to repair homes in the North West and elsewhere.

The levy will come into effect from April of next year, and will be applied at a rate of 10 per cent.
