A Bundoran Councillor has spoken of his delight at recent funding allocation for the community centre in Budoran, which will ensure the future of the facility.
€281,000 was allocated to the South Donegal facility by the Minister for Rural and Community Development, Heather Humphreys.
The funding was part of a sum worth over €33 million for the upgrade and development of 278 Community Centres nationwide.
The announcement was made under the new Community Centre Investment Fund.
In this region alone over €472,000 was allocated to Community centres in Leitrim and over 680 for community Parish centres in Sligo.
Sinn Fein councillor Michael McMahon says the funding allocation is a vote of confidence in the centre:
