Bundoran councillor calls for North West not to be left behind when it comes to enhanced transport services

Bus Eireann is being urged to give further reassurances on making improvements to its services across the North West following the announcement of an enhanced service for the east of the country.

The East Coast Commuter Corridor which will run from Sunday will aim to have better services in Louth, Meath, Wicklow, Dublin and Fingal.

However, Councillors from the Donegal MD met with Bus Eireann in recent weeks to discuss the wide range of issues in this region including delays and cancellations.

Bundoran Cllr Michael McMahon says it would be disappointing if their concerns were not taken fully on board and acted upon:
