Burglary and related offences have increased further in the North West.
It's one of the key findings by the Central Statistics Office for Q3 of 2024.
The number of recorded crime incidents involving Burglary, Theft and Weapon crimes increased across the region in the year to Q3 2024.
The level of burglary and related offices in the North West rose by 7% over this period while theft increased by 2%.

The number of crime incidents involving Weapons & Explosives offences rose by 5%.
By contrast, the number of recorded crime incidents fell across in the North West for Controlled Drug offences. The largest rate of decrease was for the Southern region at minus 11%. The rate of decrease was 3% for the North West region.
