Business running Sligo NCT Centre should not have contract renewed, says Sligo Councillor

The Mayor of Sligo says the company running the NCT Centre in Drumiskabole should not have its contract renewed.

Sinn Fein Councillor Arthur Gibbons is making the call following the company's refusal to install a shelter to protect people from the elements while waiting to get their vehicles checked.

Cllr Gibbons is to submit a motion at September's meeting of the council calling on the government not to renew the contract because of, what he says, is the 'disrespect' shown to the people of the region.
