A Sligo councillor is calling for traffic calming measures on a back road in Ballymote that has become increasingly busy in recent times.
It's known as 'the back road' in the town that goes from the Sligo road to a national school and Corran College vocational school.
It is also used by residents in Marren Park and Earlscourt.
Cllr Dara Mulvey says more people are also using the road as a short-cut to the new primary care centre in the town.
