A Sligo councillor claims one of the most dangerous junctions along the N17 Sligo/Galway road has been made worse by work carried out on it.
It's at the Kilvarnet/Templehouse junction, where two roads join the N17.
There has been a fatality as well as numerous accidents at the junction; recently, a woman had to be cut out of a car after an accident there.
Fine Gael Councillor Dara Mulvey is seeking a meeting with Transport Infrastructure Ireland, which recently did work at the junction.
