A Donegal councillor says he is not giving up in his long-running effort to have the Old Abbey Graveyard in Donegal Town refurbished, made safe and open to visitors.
Independent Councillor Tom Conaghan says the graveyard, which is in a poor state of repair, is of historical importance, being the burial place of one of the areas most renown residents, Dr H. T Warnock.
Cllr Conaghan now wants the Heritage Department of Donegal County Council to oversee and support the maintenance of the graveyard.
