Calls for a rural development officer for south Donegal

A Donegal councillor is calling for a rural development officer to be appointed for the south of the county.

Independent Councillor Niamh Kennedy made the proposal at this week's meeting of the Donegal Municipal District of the county council.

She says there's a need for the efforts of various groups, as well as that of people in various towns and villages, to be coordinated rather than each doing their own thing:
