A Fianna Fail TD is calling on the government to extend the Covid-19 payments to those over 66 that are still part of the workforce.
Under current rules, the Covid-19 Unemployment payments is only available to those between the ages of 18 and 66.
However, Donegal TD Charlie McConalogue says he has been contacted by a number of people over the age limit that are frustrated at the current guidelines.
Speaking to OceanFM News, Deputy McConalogue says they are being 'discriminated' against.
