Calls for extra train service on Sligo Dublin line to help ease overcrowding

Another train service from Sligo to Dublin is needed each way to ease overcrowding.

That's according to Fine Gael Councillor Dara Mulvey is to raise the issue at a meeting of Sligo Co Co today.

There are currently 7 services each way and Iarnroid Eireann has recently made a case to the National Transport Authority for an 8th one.

Councillor Mulvey says it's important the Council supports these calls:
