Calls for footpath to be installed on section of Pettigo Road

There are calls for a footpath to be installed on a section of the Pettigo Road in south Donegal.

It is proposed the path would stretch from Laghey village to the Greagh crossroads.

Local Cllr Michael Naughton says there businesses and new homes in the area and believes that a new footpath would have many benefits.

Cllr Naughton says it's important that he infrastructure is put in place to pave the way for further development and is hopeful that funding avenues can be explored:
