Calls for general election candidates to sign 'climate pledge'

The spokesperson for Love Leitrim is urging general election candidates to sign a 'climate pledge.'

A hustings is to be held on January 27th from 8.30pm in Manorhamilton with all candidates invited to attend.

Jamie Murphy wants them to sign the pledge asking them to oppose both the importation of fracked gas and support banning fracking in Northern Ireland.

Mr. Murphy says the next decade is vital in tackling climate change.
