A Leitrim Councillor is calling on the government to reintroduce hospitality grants for business in the sector that are still trading in the summer of 2022.
Cllr Enda McGloin will table a motion on the issue at today's meeting of Leitrim County Council.
He is also looking for a breakdown of funding provided in the form of Bord Failte Ireland grants to the hospitality sector in the county last year.
Speaking to Ocean FM Cllr McGloin says that a number of businesses failed to secure the grants last year over failing to meet certain parts of the criteria that was set down.
