Calls for speed surveys outside every primary school in Sligo

There are calls for a speed survey limit to be conducted outside every primary school in Sligo.

It is hoped that the survey will warrant the measure of establishing a 30km speed limit outside the majority of schools in the county.

Cllr Sinead Maguire believes that the move would have multiple benefits for everyone.

While acknowledging that something different may have to be implemented at schools which are located on national primary roads, Cllr Maguire says it's something that needs to be looked at:
