Calls to not 'play party politics' with Regional Garda Station project

'Let's not play party politics with the Regional Garda Station project.'

That's according Sligo/Leitrim Fine Gael general election candidate, Frank Feighan.

Fianna Fail TD and candidate, Marc MacSharry, recently made claims that the Office of Public Works are potentially no longer proceeding with a new regional Garda station at Caltragh in Sligo.

However, Senator Feighan claims funding for the three new Garda Stations is contained within the 2016 -2021 Justice Capital Plan, and that a new site has been acquired by the OPW in Caltragh.
