A Donegal general election candidate is calling for a new Irish language plan for Donegal.
Green party candidate, Micheal White wants to to create a new "Irish Quarter" in Letterkenny where Irish-language businesses, restuarants and shops can be cluster of Irish speakers in a urban setting.
White also wants to see the introduction of a new Irish Language newspaper, increased supports for Irish language schools and the development of Irish Language course at Letterkenny IT.
Micheal White believes conversing and promoting out language should be a key element in government policy
