Nominations have closed for the upcoming European Parliament elections in the Midlands- North West constituency.
A total of 28 of candidates will contest June’s elections.
The Midlands- North West constituency consists of 15 counties across Connacht, Ulster and most of Leinster.
Last November it was announced that the constituency would be allocated one extra seat bringing the total number of MEPs to five.
