Cans and glass recycling encouraged across Donegal

Donegal County Council have issued a reminder in relation to recycling during the Christmas period.

The public are being encouraged to recycle glass and cans at over 70 bottle bank locations within the county.

However, people are being advised to not abandon their materials if the banks are full, as this would lead to a €150 fine of illegal dumping.

Instead, people are asked to take their items with them and return at a later time.
