Gardaí in Ballyshannon have seized a vehicle as part of a nationwide clampdown of motoring offences across the Bank Holiday weekend.
A number of fixed charge penalty notices were also issued for offences such as speeding, worn/defective tyres and no tax.
Gardaí have previously warned extra checkpoints will be conducted throughout the course of the weekend and they are urging all motorists to adhere to the rules of the road.
Motorists are advised to not take unnecessary risks on the roads, to slow down and never drive while under the influence of alcohol/drugs.
