Car seized in Donegal as driver suspected of having insurance & licence

Gardai in Donegal seized a car this week after its driver was suspected of using a fraudulent licence and insurance disc.

Gardai from the Letterkenny Roads Policing Unit were on patrol on Tuesday night when a car flagged on their ANPR system for having no insurance.

The car was stopped and the documents were inspected.

The insurance disc and the driving licence were suspected to be fraudulent and they were seized. The car was also seized.

Gardai say that the matter will now be investigated further.
