Fine Gael Councillor, Finola Armstrong-McGuire has been elected as the new Cathaoirleach of Leitrim County Council.
Councillor Armstrong-McGuire was elected at today's AGM of the council which took place at the council offices in Carrick-on-Shannon this afternoon.
The Fine Gael representative replaces the outgoing chairperson, Fianna Fáil Councillor Mary Bohan.
Fianna Fail's Sean McGowan is the new leas-Cathaoirleach, replacing Fine Gael Councillor Sean McDermott.
