CE supervisors protesting outside Minister McHugh's offices

Community employment supervisors are taking part in lunchtime protests outside the offices of Donegal TD and Education Minister Joe McHugh.

Supervisors say the government has failed to implement a Labour Court recommendation regarding their right to a pension.

In a ballot, 91% of CE supervisors, who are members of the SIPTU and Forsa trade unions, voted in favour of industrial action.
