A chalice has been stolen from a West Sligo church.
It's believed the theft occurred at The Star of The Sea Church, in Rathlee, during the early hours of yesterday morning.
Gardai say a burglary took place at the church between 1am and 4am.
A rear door was forced and the chalice, and cash, were taken.

It's understood other burglaries also occurred at a number of businesses and private homes in West Sligo.
Gardai are investigating.
